Four confidence labels
Confirmed requires two independent publishers. Reported by several guides warns of potentially shared reporting. Single source means one publisher, including an official publisher. Sources disagree preserves conflicting claims without selecting a winner.
Evidence is specific
A creature’s rarity and frequency have separate labels. Instrument statistics, prices, song inputs and quest rewards can have different evidence from the existence of the item itself. More specific labels override the overall record label. Verified in the data means source-backed; it does not mean independently play-tested.
Derived content
Computed ranks, ratios, range positions and totals are labelled as calculated from the figures on this site. A numerical comparison does not increase confidence in its inputs. Unknown values and disputed prices are excluded from rankings; zero is used only when the supplied record explicitly gives zero.
No gap filling
Unknown fields remain empty in the data. Rumors and unidentified guesses are not published. Pre-launch numbers are not current facts. A conflict may be shown alongside an otherwise supported record, and must always be visible.
Freshness
Checked 2026-10-21 refers to the supplied research snapshot, not the time this site was built or a new visit to the sources. Game updates can change numbers. The dated codes status is based on reports, not an assertion about all future updates.
Original writing and corrections
Prose is written for this fieldbook; names, numerical values and sequences are retained where supported. A correction should include the page, disputed claim, supporting source and observation date. Personal tool entries never become editorial facts automatically.
