SCROOMS Frequency Finder

How matches are calculated

A band contains your input when the number is at least its lower endpoint and no greater than its upper endpoint. Both endpoints count. Results are grouped by the recorded area, and each result keeps separate rarity and frequency confidence labels. A match means the published numbers overlap your reading; it does not establish the creature you encountered.

Position is calculated as one hundred times the distance from the lower endpoint, divided by the band width. Zero percent is the bottom and one hundred percent is the top. A zero-width band is reported at zero percent. This is a location within an interval, not a catch probability or a ranking of likelihood.

Nearby bands and missing evidence

A close result does not contain the input. Its nearest endpoint is at most ten percent of your entered value away. The distance is measured in Hz, with a percentage relative to your input. Close results are kept apart from exact containment matches. Disputed and missing frequency records are excluded below, even when other fields about that creature are supported.

No known creature band covers an unmatched reading; frequencies above the documented range exist per an official badge, details unknown. The tone guide explains that evidence. Nothing here extrapolates new creature bands. All calculations use the dated source snapshot, with no game connection and no saved input.
