ABOUT THIS FIELDBOOK

SCROOMS Privacy and Local Storage

What this static site stores locally, the analytics it uses, and how to remove your saved tool entries.

Local tool storage

Tools save only to this browser’s localStorage: scrooms_statues_v1, scrooms_published_statues_v1, scrooms_chimes_v1, scrooms_catches_v1, and scrooms_notes_v1. A temporary scrooms_storage_check key tests availability and is removed immediately.

Email to the fieldbook

Emails to support@scrooms.net are read only to answer your message or review and correct the reference. Messages are not shared, and are deleted on request. No attachments are needed; a page path and a source link are enough.

Analytics

On scrooms.net this site loads Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to count page views and understand which pages are used. Google may set cookies and receives your IP address, browser details and the pages you view. There are no ads, no embedded third-party content and no remote fonts. Tool inputs and the entries you save are never sent to Google; they stay in your browser. Source links lead to third-party guides, video platforms and official services including Roblox and Discord; following an outbound link leaves this site and the destination has its own privacy practices. To opt out, use a browser setting or extension that blocks Google Analytics, or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Deleting or keeping your data

Use the removal controls in each tool, or clear this site’s storage in your browser settings. Private browsing, storage limits, or clearing browser data may remove your entries. Export JSON downloads a local copy of the current tool data. Import JSON reads a file you select and replaces that tool’s entries after validation. The site does not upload either file or synchronize devices; keep your export somewhere you control.

Hosting

When deployed, the hosting provider receives ordinary page requests and may process connection information to deliver the site. The application has no account database or server-side store for tool entries.
