Read the pair one field at a time

Select two instruments to place their recorded values beside each other. The difference always subtracts A from B. A positive difference means B has the larger recorded number in that column; it is not a recommendation or a combined power score. Each value carries its own confidence label, so a settled price can sit beside a disputed stat.

Percentage stats are compared in percentage points. Harmony and Tension retain their recorded point units. Resonance is converted from Roman numerals to ordinal tiers for subtraction; the tier gap does not describe a proportional improvement. Different units are never combined, and an unrecognized value does not become a number.

Prices, gaps and shareable pairs

The price ratio divides B’s Chime cost by A’s cost. Division by a free baseline is undefined. Unknown prices show Unknown; disputed values show Sources disagree. Neither is subtracted or used in a price ratio. Other reports retained on the source record do not override a field that the supplied review confirmed.

A link with a and b parameters selects a pair when scripting is available. Invalid identifiers fall back to the displayed defaults. The selected pair link changes with the controls, and nothing is saved to browser storage. Without JavaScript, the initial comparison remains readable; use the full instrument tables for every other record. Read acquisition and unlock notes before treating an affordable price as an available purchase.
